For the first time in the history of HapKiDo more than 300 martial artists from large parts of Europe came together on the weekend from 8th to 10th June 2018 to celebrate their HapKiDo. Grand master Gerhard Agrinz, president of the International HapKiDo Dan-Federation, invited overall ten masters and grand masters from Austria, Russia, Italy, Swiss, Croatia and Germany to create and hold numerous seminar units in two days in order to allow the participants an insight into nine different styles of HapKiDo. The martial arts practitioners had the unique opportunity to experience similarities between the different styles but also get familiar with the specific characteristics of each style. Quick and effective self-defence techniques, complicated combinations of lever and throwing techniques, spectacular kick techniques were part of the seminars as well as basic knowledge about recognizing and evaluating of dangerous situations and legal basics about self-defence.
